Erik Åström – an important resource for our customers

Just a short time ago we managed to become associated with Erik Åström on a consultancy basis. In parallel, Erik operates Heatwood in Forsa with his brother. We first came in contact with Erik about two years ago, when we installed SawInfo Sales Support (SISS) in their company.

“We became a kind of pilot company for SISS, the web-based sales support program developed by DataPolarna,” says Erik. “We have been running it for about two years now and have seen how it has simplified and improved operations for our relatively small company. The benefits are even greater for a company with larger operations.”

Erik will now be an important resource for us when it comes to serving our customers, mainly in southern Norrland and central Sweden. His background from work in his own company and also from previous employment in similar operations like ours will be a valuable asset.

“I have previously worked for Monitor and with their business systems, which are aimed at a variety of enterprises, including within the wood products industry. In addition, I have worked within Iggesund Paper, which I consider important experience now that I am helping new companies, both small and large, implement DataPolarna’s various systems. It will be inspiring to educate them on how they can be more efficient and more profitable in this way,” Erik concludes.
