Information from DataPolarna due to the EU new data protection regulation, GDPR.

From 25th of May 2018, the EU new data protection regulation, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies. It is a law applicable in all EU member states. The purpose of GDPR is to give individuals greater control over their personal data. In Sweden, the GDPR replaces the Personal Data Act (PUL).

Personal data is all information that can be linked directly or indirectly to an individual.

DataPolarna only collects and stores personal information required to enter agreements and to use our services. These data are not shared with third parties without the consent of the person concerned. In case of termination of service, data that will be important for us to process for statistics, follow-ups, etc. will be anonymized so that data can not be deduced to an individual.

In cases where DataPolarna is responsible for operating and developing systems for our customers, we work to maintain high security to minimize the risk of data breach. In cases where our customers collect information stored in systems that we provide, the customer is responsible for the compliance of GDPR.
